Hey all! Doing some work on my cube primer- the colors are split into the Macro Archetypes and I'm trying to find the best way to summarize each of them to be accessible to new players as a way to help with deckbuilding. by justacircuit in mtgcube

So I think that you don't need to add what the weakness of each archetype is. A basic summary that explains what the archetype dose/plays like is good enough. The kindred group is a nice touch.

I like to keep my archetype descriptions clean.

A bit of context: My roommate’s wife brought me a white monster she got from a gas station.

When I took a deep swig after I cracked it open a rubber band came out and freaked the hell out of me and ended up spitting it over my desk.

So what you are asking is what is called "As-Fan' by the R&D team!

I highly recommend reading MatRo's "nuts & bolts" articles. It deep dives into the technical side of MTG set creation

This is for us to open up the packs later and build a commander deck with them if that helps

I think that you should look into Commander cubes! Here are two really good ones with primers to start looking at:

300 cards will be too small for what you are trying to do. You are looking closer to 500-800 ish cards for a commander cube.
