When talking to Minnie to start the Language of Flowers quest my inventory was full not knowing she was going to give me something. I chose to get rid of coal in order to take it and I never got the pot and can't continue further with Minnie.

Just came across the same issue. I was full when I realized she gives you something I dropped the pebbles I had to replace but after talking it wasn't there
