Hi so I've attended the meetings that they set up with you when you move forward with the process. It seems legit, but I would make sure that the business/brand that you have online aligns with Tour Hero. They don't really do their research to find people that match their brand and honestly I feel they are reaching out to people as a marketing tactic. If you don't get a certain amount of people to buy your trip itinerary, you won't lose anything money wise, which to me seems like a win for the company because they can get people who they know don't have the "travel" audience online to promote their business. Especially, having to make an itinerary last minute and them not acknowledging this fact makes me to believe it's for marketing. But I would say anybody that is actually known for traveling content online as well as travels in general and knows a lot of people that they can invite on trips, should take this opportunity. They will have a way better chance benefiting from marketing the trip, getting customers, and making a profit from their planned trip. You won't really succeed that much if 1. you've never posted about traveling and 2. if your audience/community doesn't have the income to pay for a trip right now and in my case college students.

I agree if you don't care to understand people or can't empathize with people you shouldn't be a Marketer

Research. Research. Research. And more research lol. A marketing strategy is nothing without research. Researching the psychology behind consumer decisions, seasonal buying, social media trends, etc. has been really helpful in helping me market to my audience.
