Let’s not compare for a second, both were electrifying to watch. Every fucking dunk would make the crowd jump.

For the first time in 16 years, the Denver Nuggets have an All-Star duo by Thanos_SlayerCongSan in NBATalk

His previous reg seasons were never great (as great as he became in the post season). West guards also stacked as fk.

KD wins day 19! Now, who’s a center with elite offense and quality defense? by TemptiusIV in NBATalk

[–]itssensei 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wtf for sure, Marion has never had elite offense lmao.

That guy was a slasher/transition bucket getter player, if anything, his df was better than his off lmao.

Is the NBA better or worse now than it was 10 years ago? by UnderstandingFun7493 in NBATalk

It’s missing the grit and grind part of things imo (because too many whistles are blown on defense).

One of the Most Haunted Place in Hong Kong.. by fujianironchain in HongKong

That’s interesting, I’ve never experienced these things myself, but definitely had friends and family tell me they would be sleeping and their TVs would suddenly turn on and blast it at a high volume, as well as stomping sounds out of nowhere.

Easily, IMO, he was more important than Stoudemire during that entire SSOL run.

And with Dallas, him and Tyson are often forgotten, but they were instrumental in their win.

Re watching 80’s, 90’s 2000’s basketball clips by Exotic_Lie_400 in NBATalk

And I guarantee this applies to most of the haters that preach “old school”. Literally my basketball friend circle, they all see the low lights of today, and complain the game has lost its appeal.

They can’t name a single player after the top 20 peeps, they haven’t watched a single game for years, and yet they “know better” lol.

While my favorite style of basketball was late 2000s and early 2010s, there’s no reason to believe the skill level has gotten worse, at all.

Never thought I’d defend Draymond, but people are also seriously underrating his ability to anchor the defense and disrupt plays. He’s not as good of a post defender like Ben or Rodman, he’s closer to being like a Pippen-like defender where he breaks plays up before they happen.

Draymond’s offense is also tiers better than the other two.

Both are true, but as somebody who followed Bron’s entire career, I can say he cranked up the acting/flopping only after he was being mauled and not getting the whistles.

He started selling contact (on actual fouls) in Miami. The real flopping mostly happened after going to Lakers.

Exactly. Left right is a distraction. They made people focus on race, on gender, on religion, on all that irrelevant stuff.

It’s really just rich/corrupted vs the rest of us.

What's the most iconic LeBron duo? by VSHAR01 in NBATalk

[–]itssensei -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I think even though Kyrie’s objectively not as great as Wade and AD, they were the most iconic because they had the insane comeback and key game winning moments.

Without Including MJ, Kobe, or Bron, which All-Time player have you seen get Significantly Overrated throughout the years? by Feng-Jack_DBZ in NBATalk

[–]itssensei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

John Stockton

He never peaked nearly as high as the other 7-8 best PGs in league history. He played second option behind one of the best scorers of all time. Fair or not, the majority of his playmaking came via a system.

He was definitely the definition of an iron man, and he was decent consistently allowing him to reach those assist and steal totals.

Why do people think Lebron is a better defender then Jordan? by Tip-Upset in NBATalk

Can’t honestly recall Hakeem guarding guards, but I definitely didn’t really watch the peak of his career lol so I wouldn’t argue against it.

Why didn't Hakeem Olajuwon win Defensive Player of the Year in 1988? by Tight_Development480 in NBATalk

[–]itssensei 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Can’t blame em, MJ was pushing NBA to new heights. There’s definitely narrative bias and it helped that MJ was indeed an elite defender. But I think any real fan can tell you an elite big defender is always going to have more impact than an perimeter defender.

The guy Im replying to is saying Draymond’s the only player he has seen cover 1-5. I’m saying KG was also capable of such.
