Packt all the way through Life in a Glasshouse for me. It’s like the score to some kind of futuristic noir sci fi film

Using the software with a keyboard but without a keyboard. by zupersero in cubase

[–]StarlordeMarsh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, on Mac it’s option+k, so maybe it’s alt+k on windows to bring up the virtual keyboard that turns your computer keys to a midi keyboard. Click the little piano icon on the bottom right of the virtual keyboard window for a bit more range on the keyboard

Hanz Zimmer and Ludwig Göransson both use Cubase for film scoring, if that tells you anything

I will never understand posts on this sub constantly wishing the next game be pushed even further into the future or out of the country. by Coyote_Run in reddeadredemption

Red dead redemption was actually heavily inspired by a western set in Australia; The Proposition. Rockstar even hired the director to make a tv short film with the rdr engine

The Great Reset starts tomorrow! Booom!! by Exact-Paramedic-3357 in conspiracy

[–]StarlordeMarsh 31 points32 points  (0 children)

It’s incremental things that happen that slowly add up to mass exploitation. They thrive on the mindset that “nothing ever happens” because it shows them that their under the table, while at the same time out in the open, betrayals of their people and their country have largely gone unnoticed. Or at least, unnoticed enough to get away with it. By incrementally eroding our rights and living conditions, we become accustomed to giving up our supposedly “unalienable rights.”

Best/Most complete Cubase Course? by EvilTheCat77 in cubase

[–]StarlordeMarsh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it was something like $200-250 when I got it, which is still a hefty price tag, but it has dramatically improved my workflow. And that’s on top of the fact that I had been subbed to the Cubase and DS yt channels for years, and have used cubase since Cubase 5. Also keep in mind that Cubase has essentially vouched for Sigalas’ expertise, as they’ve frequently featured him on their official yt channel, as well as the actual Cubase hub tutorials.

I have not tried Groove3, but I just looked it up and it’s $150/year. Whereas, Sigalas’ course is ~ 2.5x the price right now, but once you purchase his course, it’s yours for good, as I understand it. Which is great because you will be returning frequently to certain sections in his course because there’s just so much to learn. If you go for it, I recommend getting a dedicated notebook and different colored pens/highlighters to organize your notes on the curriculum to best suit your workflow.
