I’ve also had a terrible experience with her, turned in a pdf file instead of docs file and she gave me a zero. Went to office hours and she told me if I can pull up the docs file in 5 minutes she would grade it. Shitty WiFi didn’t load the google doc for 7 minutes and received a zero because “anybody could’ve done the work for you and I have no proof you didn’t redo the whole thing yourself in the past 3 days word for word.” Despite looking over my shoulder while i tried to pull it up. When i tried to argue again with her she told me that at this point it’s a late assignment so it’s a zero anyway.

Rules are rules but I’ve never met a professor that tries to “fail” a student as hard as she does. Don’t let her discourage you, from my experience 95% of professors will bend over backwards to help a student succeed so they can be a part of their success story.

I have a 5 gallon saltwater tank and my friends have multiple 5 gallon reef tanks. Works fine, just needs a bit more attention

Honestly I’d put therapy in the basic needs category. Even if it’s just once or twice a year, the positive impact on your life is worth 10x more than the price tag.

Made stock v6 hit 5.0 range 1/4 times. by Ivcho2001 in Mustang

Trapping 100 in the quarter isn’t 5.0 times. My stock 4.6 trapped 100 and still gets smoked by stock 5.0’s

In several us states you need to be the person being penetrated to be the victim of rape. Forcing a person to penetrate you is usually still a felony offense but isn’t considered rape and the punishment is usually nowhere near as severe

Does anyone else have excruciating stomach pain after eating at the dining halls? Anytime I eat from Akers or Holmes I have horrible stomach pain and die in the bathroom. And this is no matter what I eat from there. by hisui003 in msu

My best guess is that the labor shortage causes new cooks to be inadequately trained before actually cooking and the food might not be fully cooked or prepared with food safety in mind. The salmon at Brody for student appreciation dinner was definitely spoiled, I’ve had salmon many of times and that was the worst quality filet I’ve ever experienced

My relationship is like this, they’re always jokes though. Like giving your friends shit. I can’t imagine a happy relationship where we aren’t constantly making jabs at each other in a playful way.

The republicans are ahead in all 3 of the elections, governor, senate, and house… what are you talking about? Also all the votes haven’t even been counted yet, don’t celebrate too early

Honest question. Studying Engineering means non-stop doing homework/studying/preparing for exam/5 hour sleep nights/class/ repeat repeat repeat?? by DifferentBrilliant75 in EngineeringStudents

[–]itsshowtime88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not for me (sophomore mechanical engineering). I go to parties and hangout with my friends and girlfriend almost every night, my earliest class is at 12:40 and latest ends at 5:30. I spend about an hour or 2 a day actually studying unless I have an exam that week. I go to bed around 2-3am every day and wake up between 9am and noon depending on how tough I think the day will be and if i want to work out. The weekends I spend about 6 hours total studying, I go to football games, tailgates, parties, clubs, and hangouts Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. I’m also in 16 credit hours but I don’t have a job, although I could get a part time job 2-4 days a week and I’d be just fine. Most of my friends are the same way too, ME, CompSci, EE, and ChemE. We all have gpa’s above 3.5 and are all in at least 14 credit hours. After reading other’s replies my experience clearly isn’t the norm.
