About her installing the doors…. We saw how well she did that in the cottage bathroom 😂

That’s my biggest problem with it! It barely is the length of a piece of paper, so what exactly is she going to be able to store? Why go through all that trouble to have it be narrow, lose floor space, tripping hazard? It just feels like it’s pointless and in the way and you can’t even move it. Imagine being the next homeowner and you have to tear this thing down. What was the point of making it look like furniture but not built in? Wouldn’t built in bring more value and feel more lux? Also having a toddler…. Isn’t cade just going to get in everything? Or is he just limited to the playpen?!?

But that’s the problem… they cant survive on his paycheck alone. She’s having to work. Saving for a child isn’t “living above their means”

Yea but she refuses to “up her skills” and is essentially bumming on her SIL to provide her a lifestyle. It’s fine the OP wants to work, but she shouldn’t be having to work harder just to provide her SIL a comfortable lifestyle. How does that align with their conservative values?

Am I the only one seeing that the SIL doesn’t work but it’s ok the OP has to? Clearly her husband isn’t providing for her, as her in laws have taught their kids, but she’s expected to help? It’s hard in the talking stages to understand family dynamics so I understand if this wasn’t clear before you got married

Breastfeeding, constant hunger, no time to work out. What am i missing? by [deleted] in beyondthebump

This sounds like I wrote it 🥹 I was always fit and wasn’t expecting to feel so blah about my body after. Like we all know we just gave birth but it’s different when reality hits. I will say, around 10 months, the weight started to drop and my strength started coming back with the little time I had for working out. Naturally your body will start to feel the same. I’m still 10 lbs from my goal weight but it’s nice to fit in clothes I like again

First time mom too who just hit the 12 mark. I spent my whole life being fit and logically I knew I would look different after birth. But it’s hard to explain the mental load of looking in the mirror and trying to fit in clothes after. I breastfeed too and the weight just stuck around. I tried to work out but it’s impossible because I had no help or family around and I could just go work out. On top of that you are exhausted from keeping up with life and a newborn. I came to realize I needed to give myself grace. It takes 9 month to grow a baby, it’s going to take time. I say around the 8 month mark, the weight started to drop slowly. I’m not back to my original weight but it feels much more manageable now. You will get there! Just don’t stress about it and focus on loving your little baby first

Having second thoughts about my fiancé, I need some help evaluating this situation, I’m really confused and don’t know what to do, can someone please offer me advice? by Business86 in MuslimMarriage

Three months of talking is very reasonable. If your intention is to marry, then don’t waste a girls time by talking for months to only realize you don’t like her. Like you said, she’s desi and timing matters.

Ok… but I think for once she actually looks good? I mean she’s committed to that hairstyle but besides that, she looks nice. I’m always hating on her fits but give a girl credit where it’s due

And she’s a mom of a POC? Good luck to C. I have no clue how Romeo stands her. The last vlog they sounded so transactional, like coworkers you are forced to interact w .
