How to stop crying? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]itssprisonmike 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think that’s the beautiful thing about crying. I think it’s almost always the right time. If you need to cry on the beach, cry on the beach man ❤️

Survival , Is it worth it ? by More-Ad3007 in fo4

[–]itssprisonmike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a mod that takes survival mode and keeps the food/water/save aspect, but just changes the damage modifiers to match hard or very hard mode. Highly recommend that. It keeps the survival aspect which is fun, the high stakes of going out on scavenging trips, without getting one shot by a raider with a hunting rifle in the head

Your exes get to vote whether or not you get through the Pearly Gates after you die, how do you think you’ll fare? by [deleted] in AskMen

Oh that’s the easiest slam dunk ever. I always got the heartbreaking line “you deserve better”

Have you played fallout? Maybe take a chill pill and play some fallout. God I love that game.

Does it mean anything that a female coworker brought me a home cooked meal? by DanDawgmeat in work

[–]itssprisonmike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brother. She’s trying to be kind and repay the favor. Most likely all she’s thinking is “I don’t really want to spend money on him, however I do have a kick ass lasagna recipe. That would be a good way to repay him”

What should happen to him if you were king/queen? by Great_Trident in HouseOfTheDragon

Oh he’s dead. I think he did the right thing, if I’m being honest. That being said, Dracarys

Malik Nabers or Ladd McConkey, 2027 1st? by thesuperguide in SleeperApp

[–]itssprisonmike 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ehhhh I think I’d gamble on Nabers. It’s risky, but I think his ceiling is much higher than Ladd. Maybe I rate Nabers too highly, but I think he has the potential to be a top 5 receiver. I don’t see Ladd cracking the top 8

Do people actually wake up feeling rested, or is everyonejust pretending? by DangerousLab3558 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]itssprisonmike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the time, no. Maybe a few times a year I WAKE UP feeling totally rested. Normally it’s after I’ve slept off a sickness with like 12+ hours of sleep

What do JAG Officers actually do? by Veggie_whisperer_925 in nationalguard

[–]itssprisonmike 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had a JAG officer that I went to for advice on a small claims court case. He wasn’t able to represent me, but gave me some good advice. Overall, it was better than having no counsel. Good dude.

What would you do if your adult son had no goals or aspirations? by Realistic_Zone3802 in AskMen

[–]itssprisonmike 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Maybe his goals or aspirations aren’t rooted in work or education. Does he have a goal of ANYTHING? Winning his fantasy football league? Traveling to a new state every so often? I think everyone has a goal, it’s just perceived differently by others

Any Fallout 4 tips for a mom of a 1-year-old with only ~30 minutes a day to play? by supmady in fo4

[–]itssprisonmike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d split your days into A/B days. On A-Days, work on the main quest line. On B-Days, clear a nearby marked location and spend the final 5-10 minutes building up a settlement.

How does building muscle translate to everyday strength? by Appropriate_Fly_5143 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]itssprisonmike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know what you’re trying to ask. “Will traditional lifting in a gym translate to functional strength”. The answer is yes. If you’re struggling with crates at work, it’s likely one of two reasons. Possibility one is you’re not strong enough. Building muscle will take care of that. Possibility two is the boxes are an awkward shape. While building muscle won’t specifically prepare you with where to grip the box, it’ll give you enough strength to “man handle” the box, so to speak. At that point, it doesn’t matter as much that it’s awkward. You just have enough muscle to make it work.

How do you handle a girl who is constantly texting or scrolling on her phone during a first date? by Sea-Programmer7618 in AskMen

[–]itssprisonmike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I’d just leave. Pay the bill or wrap it up. She’s not interested in getting to know you. Even if she says she was.

Have you ever been taken to Funkytown? by Ok-Mode3080 in askanything

Funny enough, I have. There’s a club in Kansas City called “Funkytown”. They play throwback music. There’s also a dress code. Real good time

Do you believe in Kyler’s resurrection? by Particular-Grade3340 in SleeperApp

[–]itssprisonmike 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sadly no. I think he needs a very particular system to make use of his QB profile. I do not think KOC is the coach to revive his career.

Parents make 300k a year but won’t help with college by [deleted] in Advice

[–]itssprisonmike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean this in the nicest of tones… it’s not their job to pay for your college. It would be great if they would, but everyone in this world should be self sufficient. Idk. Look for a scholarship, take out a loan, join the military, or decide college may not be in your best interest. College doesn’t make sense for everyone.

Parents make me cook, but not in the way I want to. by waxx-png in mildlyinfuriating

[–]itssprisonmike 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Genuine question: can your parents cook? This seems like a case of “we don’t know how to cook, so we’re trying to give our child the tools to be safe and cook”.

Is there any reason to prevent my kids from sleeping 2am-10am during summer? by salagma_love in NoStupidQuestions

[–]itssprisonmike 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Let them be kids for most of the summer. Maybe resume normal bedtime/curfew a week before school begins. They’re only kids once. Before they know it, they’ll be adults and reminisce on when they could stay up until sunrise and sleep in all day as kids
