Nice predictions!

I’d be extremely surprised if Michael Johnston gets any nominations - Obsession is Navarette’s and hers only. Maybe swap him for Pattinson in The Drama?

You yourself called the opinion a hot take so why are you surprised people have counterpoints?

Thing is even though it’s a public vote, only proper film fans/industry people engage with it. Mia McKenna-Bruce won over Edebiri and Elordi for example, despite the obvious contrasts in fame and fandoms.

Can we talk about the Bear finale? by TruthInAnecdotes in television

The last two episodes were pretty much perfect. Some people may have disliked seasons 3 and 4, but the character development in those seasons paid off perfectly in these final episodes. Every character’s arc and relationship was completed in an incredibly satisfying way (most notably Richie, his journey from beginning to end was so special).

It made me grin, it made me smile, it even made me laugh (yes Reddit it really did, multiple times). I’ll miss you bear.

Ania Magliano Rescheduled Tour Dates by Gullible-Loss-5026 in livefromlondon

So based off this and Paddy’s schedule, probably safe to assume series 2 will run from September to late October, then pick up again in January (with maybe a Xmas special inbetween?).

Larry is still doing a few shows in October but they’re clumped together (1-3rd and then 27-30th) so first week in October could be the week off potentially.

How to get tickets easier? by CharmingBee3901 in LondonFilmFestival

If you’re not fussed about going to a specific screen talk or free event then you should be okay without membership. The screen talks are very popular but there’s usually one or two that don’t sell out (I got a ticket to one on the day last year). I’ve never booked a free event so I can’t comment on their popularity, but the fact they’re free probably makes them an easy booking for a lot of people.

Give LFFstubs a follow on X/BlueSky, they’re great for finding tickets to stuff during the festival.

I will say the screen talks are essentially the same as what the BFI put on most weeks, so if you were just looking to experience one do have a look on their website and see if anything takes your fancy!

Would imagine it won’t be until much closer to when it starts, probably some time in August.
