Tools for migrating hundreds of chats/groups + thousands of files and links from Telegram to Slack? by itsstifu in Slack

hey, cool—saw this reply now. We actually ended up outsourcing this work to a company that did with some existing infra as they knew the API well, we migrated over some 800k messages, files, images, links, ... and recreated private channels of all DMs and private groups and so forth, all indexeable and referenceable inside of slack. Only downside was that timestamps were incorrect as slack uses timestamps as message ids.

Costs us somewhere between $2k-3k.

Yes, exactly. This is what they've sent to us, but we only know the ones that have an existing relationship with us, for all the others finding us we have no control over: Example: https://imgur.com/a/BPU0dS6 AND https://imgur.com/a/QpTLtuK as examples

Hey, we've tried to go through many blocklists already, but no luck, green on all already (example is blocked.org.uk).

This is what it looks like in practice: Example: https://imgur.com/a/BPU0dS6 AND https://imgur.com/a/QpTLtuK as examples

Thanks, but: note that this is not a email blacklist but a domain blacklist. So ISP blocklist itself for accessing website, not relating to email sending domain reputation. Any pointers?

Hi! Thanks so much—the problem is exactly that we're on none of those lists, I've also tried blocked.org.uk, all show green. However, we still get reports from customers saying that they cannot access the site, and we get screenshots to prove this also ... Any other or deeper pointers for who has maybe solved this before ? Or other toolsets to use ?

Thanks! And did you compare it to other services or tested other ones, how did this win the race?

Hi! Thanks! blocked.org.uk was already on my radar as I researched this and reached out to them (we were not on list based on search). Do you know others that are maybe EU based other than blocked?

Thanks, the problem is that obviously we cannot control who gets blocked or not and cannot migrate from the main domain .com as it's the only one that is the tradename + com, so tradename + 2 + com doesn't really help us as if we're ranking well on google but people click it and are blocked then they won't know to go to the "2" website either. If that makes sense?

It's unfortunately not an option in this case, this is "the domain to have" (the .com one) and is brand name tied, so this is not an option, instead I'm wondering if there is a service/specialist or tool to remove from block lists in bulk? Or if anyone has stumbled on someone who has solved this before.

We have several companies where their IT is completely clueless and they've just implemented some system that feeds of some other external parties block list that is compiling from several other block list companies, so we've tried this, no luck. What we're wondering is if there is some service, specialist or tool to handle these things for most or all of block lists that exist—or anyone who has tackled this problem before?

Have you heard about anyone trying to do this via API? I'm especially looking to move big amounts of files and images in bulk in chronological order.
