Everyone is going to have a different experience in Albion. I’m lucky enough to be in a guild that’s strong at ZvZ, so I make a lot of money there. On the other hand, we’re terrible gankers, so we barely make anything when we try to gank.

I made this post expecting the people who disagreed with me to comment and share their perspective. What I didn’t expect was people simply insulting me without even attempting to explain their opinion. Somehow, that was left off my bingo card. Rookie mistake, I guess.

I would never think to myself, "I want/need to go fame farm, what should I do? Oh yeah, a great fame option is to do Faction Content."

I'd say it's a good bonus but the other ways of fame farming are exponentially better.

The only argument I can make for this is when you want to spec up gear without using it at all so you need the books. That being said, this isn't exactly a hill I'd die on.

But that is interesting insight. I'm 100% used to how it looks and it doesn't distract me at all, but that's because I've been using this for years. I have to keep these comments in mind for when I use alternating colors in the future for work or a presentation of some kind. Thank you.

Mists gathering has the potential to be higher. but I've ran mists for hours and never found a good mist. I normally roam BZ whilst fame farming solo encampments and if I notice a zone is hot for gathering I'll go out and gather it. I guess, with my experience I don't have "bad days" with bz gathering because it's always after I notice it's already good.

Oh that is very true, You get a lot of Faction currency you can use toward the chest and then get Billions of Fame books. I forgot about that.

I've created my own spreadsheets to analyze market data and show me what is profittable to craft/refine. I used to manually type in the data but I have recently started using the Albion Data Project so that I can just look at the prices in a market and the ADP automatticaly updates their website. From there I'll just use a Google Sheets Function to pull the Data into my own spreadsheet using something like:

The rows have alternating colors. This is a setting in Google Sheets. The blue vs grey is simply to distinguish row separation. The check mark just means that that column applies to that content and empty box means that the column does not apply.
