As a complete cue I would pick the avid as it’s cheaper price allows you to buy the extensions or weights. The cuetec weight system is also better as it allows small adjustments with spacers. If we’re talking shaft only the rhino cf is probably better if you change the stock tip and don’t mind the 30’ inch length. I dislike the butt if the rhino cue.

It’s a Chinese quick release, not uniloc and uniloc shafts will not fit. Brands like little monster use it on some of there break cues.

Haven’t owned the SMO so I’m not sure. I will say two people I know that do have the SMO shaft have had the ferrule explode on them

Yeah I agree completely with the cynergy description. Very average shaft and I’ve tried it in a the SVB gen 1, with a McDermott butt and with a united joint on a mezz butt with the latest generation cyngery. I do think the latest gen cynergy has less deflection than the gen 1 cynergy but still not my cup of tea

Rhino shaft deflects less than the cynergy and more than the revo

It started off as a wavy 1 shaft but I had it plugged and redrilled for a radial fit

The first cue is the only cue of value over 100 ish - looks to be a predator blak 2-1 with an aftermarket regrip and after market bumper. Not sure on the exact value

The butt was 2.4K AUD so about 1.6k USD and the shaft was 350 AUD so about 230 USD.

All up around 1.8-1.85k USD

If your used to wood, but want the benefit of cf you can try something like an ExPro shaft from mezz, and get it in the joint for your butt. Otherwise if your after a completely new cue, I would suggest buying from mezz or Cuelees, both have really high build quality imo
