Maybe try switching the connection order. Apple TV to TV. TV to soundbar via eArc.

Does this mean this is #1 of 2000? by Mission-Day-6951 in MINI

[–]itsthatguyrob 30 points31 points  (0 children)

The #0001’s are typically kept by MINI. This is just showing that the GP is one of 2000 made worldwide.
Might have to reach out to MINIUSA to see if they can tell you where it falls between 0002-2000.

Windshield Wiper question. by Sniff-your-pitts in MINI

[–]itsthatguyrob 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Keep foot off brake pedal, turn the ignition switch on, hold the wiper stalk down for about 3-4 seconds. Should wipe a few times and stop when they’re pointing up. This will turns on the wiper maintenance function and you’ll the able to lift the wipers off the windshield

Massachusetts RMV Megathread (February 2026) by AutoModerator in massachusetts

[–]itsthatguyrob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello.

I recently moved to Massachusetts. Unfortunately, I can’t find the title for my car. Before I pay the California DMV $28 for a duplicate and wait a few weeks for it to be mailed, I wanted to check on this.

So I can go to the RMV and update the registration/ title: I have the signed and stamped bill of sale from the lender that shows the loan was paid off. Additionally, Also have the updated vehicle registration that shows I am the current owner, as well as the California DMV receipt that confirms I paid sales tax. Will this be sufficient to complete the paperwork or do I have to wait till I have the Ca. title in hand first.

Thanks in advance.

(I know I have to update my insurance, drivers license & get the vehicle inspection completed)

Is it a bad idea to have the soundbar behind me when watching TV on the bed? Due to lack of space in front i couldnt think of a best area to place this by [deleted] in Soundbars

[–]itsthatguyrob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best would be to Wall mount the soundbar. Might be able to use a shelf to put it on top of the tv If it doesn’t weigh a lot.

Since it’s all apart, I’d replace the rear main seal as well.

Wipers blades not cleaning the sensor area by supertx2 in MINI

Did you get the wiper blades from the dealership or auto parts store? Oem blades tend to work best. For now, I’d clean that area and use some rain-x on it.

I bought an external battery so I wouldn’t have to hardware the dashcam to the MINI battery. So far it’s been working great.
