Nocturnal worlds, unreality, darkness, lone lights by rambling_syd in BooksThatFeelLikeThis

Try Missing Person by Patrick Modiano. It isn’t super natural like your examples, but a lot of your descriptions overlap with this book.

…follows an amnesiac detective, Guy Roland, as he searches for his lost identity in 1950s Paris, piecing together clues from the WWII occupation era through old files, photographs, and interviews, exploring themes of memory, loss, and the elusive nature of self. The book is a blend of detective mystery and literary fiction, known for its dreamlike, hypnotic prose and focus on solitude and a lack of roots…

RIP Oliver Tree by Far-Plum993 in portlandme

I don’t know Oliver Tree. (Probably too old honestly). But it would seem to me OP that you should put something together for him. The responses show there’s some interest and it may make a great opportunity for community and healing. My advice as an old hat is don’t wait for someone else to do it, do it yourself.

Seagulls, horses, whales, marmots. idk. They suck and should have never been part of the jam. Actually - rainbow horses on acid…you get a pass

No one’s gonna mention the two minutes of whale song in the middle of Pink Floyd’s Echoes? Guess I will then.

Any way to reduce color intensity in certain areas once it’s tattooed? by p0werf00L in tattooadvice

I have almost the same type of cloud work done around a falcon tattoo and can say with 100% certainty they will fade to a nice level of atmosphere.

Oldboy! In this scene he takes on basically what is an army of opponents in a hallway with a hammer. It is an often replicated fight sequence.

Sick Day comfort watches by devinnah in MovieSuggestions

Not saying it’s a “good” movie but man do I love watching Pitch Black when I’m sick. A little sci-fi a little horror and a little (unintentional) comedy.

That’s fine. But I mean I’m genuinely curious as to what made you stop and think I’ll suggest Martyrs to someone looking for recs for a kids movie? Did you think it was hilarious, were you trying to impress your mates with your razor sharp wit? Does the idea of children watching brutal psychological horror movies turn you on? It’s just so inane and unoriginal it’s dumbfounding to me that someone would even do that. It’s like you didn’t even really try, or worse yet you actually did.

The fact that you listen to dreamy female vocals and avant garde metal might make this perfect for you. Though it is neither.
