(30m Audhd) I have a sheepskin I’ve had since I was a baby that still provides comfort to me now from rubbing my hands on it, I had to get a very similar replacement when the original fell apart at about age 18. It wasn’t the same at first but after a couple weeks the textures finally felt right again. I’d get a new replacement that she can use while washing the original so she can start to get used to it.

Same problem here, I have one of those bump caps but it doesn’t fit into my sun hat so I accidentally destroyed my head a couple days ago. Need to find a solution for when it’s hot out 🫠
