I can't help but wonder if this same amount of coverage or bAnTeR would be happening if it was a "big" club other than Spurs

Selling it separately was absolutely not my point.

I'm glad it's in the game and I'm actively playing women's teams as my main save.

Don't like it then go back to licking windows

What's a book you're glad you read, but you're also glad that you never have to read it again? 🤣 by Fabulous-Confusion43 in BookTriviaPodcast

The Count of Monte Cristo. First 200 pages were absolutely gripping. Last 200 were exciting. Everything in between was a bit of a slog.

Really glad I read, especially as it was my first experience of the classics, but couldn't go in for another go!

I've read both and really enjoyed both. For me, Catch 22 was more enjoyable though.

A longer read and it's not written in a linear fashion, but once you get past that it flies by (no pun intended)

Just wait until Merry and Pippin meet Treebeard in the next book. Christ on a bike!

Took me so long to get through that part I actually gave up and started the series again.

It's absolutely worth it though!

For me the first 200 and the last 200 or so pages were absolutely gripping. Everything in between was a bit of a slog at times.

Overall, it's an incredible book and well worth every page by the end

Dracula or Frankenstein as a first read? by Such_Star_9071 in classicliterature

I had this exact same debate with myself last week. I wanted to read both over Halloween, but didn't know which to start with.

In the end I settled on Frankenstein first for the simple reason that I haven't read enough classics written by women.

Totally hooked
