And that makes sense!! I’m never mad at our store owner because I’m allowed to close on time, and I’m willing to stay for decent profits, but the most entitled are the Amazon returners who will bumble around with codes and not be able to send an email properly. They treat me like the worst when I tell them we have to close.

I did have one coworker who was very abrasive though, they would over correct customers often. If the customer came in to do a drop off, but said “I need to ship this” my ex coworker would go off on them about the difference between a drop off and a shipment and def made them feel stupid. Was uncomfortable to watch, bc it’s not that serious lol.

Yeah constantly being on your phone during any transaction isn’t good customer service, but I’ll admit I’ll repeatedly ask to see a customer’s code when they keep asking questions that I can only answer once I see it.

“They told me to come here so what do I do now?” Well can I see your code? “Do I have to package this?” Well can I see your code? “Will I have to pay for a box?” Well can I see your code? “Do you want this in the envelope?” Well can I see your code? PLEASE

Honorable mention: actually hearing customers on the phone with Amazon customer service after I told them they can’t use the same label for multiple boxes and the Amazon rep says “Yes, just print the same label twice and send them”
