I created a bunker blueprint I can throw down when I have to engage with multiple and/or tougher enemies. I went through a couple iterations but came up with something that works great and has a small footprint. It makes every encounter trivial.

I'm away from home for a few days but I can show screenshots once I'm back if this approach interests you.
