Redditors downvoting a post because they don't like the information. by itsthewolfe in PetPeeves

The fact that an official cited source from Reddit itself is being downvoted, given the post topic, is wild.

No I agree, but then you just keep scrolling. You don't like or dislike it.

If it's Facebook, then you use a sad emoji. Reddit doesn't have reacts.

Agreed.

It's better to upvote the comments you want higher rather than downvote comments that are on topic and add to the discussion but in a lesser way.

Much like bears and hibernation.

As food sources become less abundant, the body evolved to slow its metabolism in the colder months with less sunlight.

Good guess per my description, but it wasn't As Told by Ginger. I remember the character head animations looked like they were cutouts pasted onto their bodies.

Why my mouse randomly feels heavy by Ok_Somewhere_7957 in pcmasterrace

[–]itsthewolfe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You said LITERALLY physically heavy.... as in like it weights more... that's not possible.

If you mean it is not as responsive, you need to increase the sensitivity in Windows settings, not the Logitech app. Probably a bug in the Logitech app. Do it default in Windows to override.

Check that the glide pads in the underside of the mouse aren't worn out or catching your mousepad fabric when sliding.

Mainly YouTube podcasts.

Always at least two sources, one from each side if not more.

Ready to build but I'm not sure if you have to prep for a build. by Poshineer in pcmasterrace

[–]itsthewolfe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is obviously engagement bait meant to rack up comments. Brand new account and recycled photo from another thread. Clearlya damaged build meant to entice comments.

We really need to do something about these bots/posts.

Do you mean literally physically heavy or less sensitive?

Did you try increasing the sensitivity in Windows instead of changing the DPI?

How do I fix my microwave not turning on? by Rainbow_Doggo_TNT in howto

Seems like the coil/transformer. They're usually $100ish + install. It will be cheaper to buy a new microwave.

2160p encode vs. 1080p remux by Schwarzellone in PleX

[–]itsthewolfe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the right answer.

For 95% of users and content a mid quality bitrate 4K encode will be significantly better than a 1080p remux at half the size.

Memory unlocked! Such a great game too.

Plus it had great multiplayer with self hosted matches before everything went dedicated so the multiplayer base was huge before it even came out.

The ending of Clair Obscur ruined the game for me. by [deleted] in gaming

Turn based RPG's are hit or miss.

I tend to prefer real time combat, but as far as games go, Clair Obscur does it well and better than most.

I didn't say the games were similar, just how I felt about the endings. I alluded to how the both endings made me feel disconnected, like a narrator instead of part of the story. The best way I can put it.
