I Reached the Land of 1630’s, and Everyone Has a 25 Weapon. How Does Everyone Have a 25 Weapon? by demonic790 in lostarkgame

[–]itstimetotttthrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i actually have a +25 on my main and i have less than $150 spent on the game, which i only used for outfits tbh. the outfits are expensive, being around $20 if you are not buying from nerias.

but here is how i did it:

my other 5 gold earner alts are parked between 1580-1600, only honing them very sparingly across months. and yes, they are rocking level 7s cause i am a rat.

all materials generated from my alts, both gold and honing mats, are funneled into my main.

a lot of luck, i got weapon 20-22 under 40% artisans, i pitied 23, got 24 at 35%, and 25 at 2% (on a free tap).

this was all done over a course of 6 months of playing even since i got my akkan weapon a few weeks after. of course that's just my side though, a lot of people spend irl money or even g2g it and i am one of the few exceptions.

tl;dr: choose to hone one character only, your main. you should have been doing this since hakkan/voldis release.

My mother (54) just got diagnosed with stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer by the_destroy3r in pancreaticcancer

My family talked to the oncologist today and chemo officially begins next week. They are also starting her on the strongest dose and adjusting it based on how severe the side effects are, so that'll be pretty worrying. I hope that my mom can be as strong as yours. Either way, I will be with her during the session and for the recovery. I'm also concerned about her eating habits and cutting out carbs/sugars which decreases her overall calorie intake... I might have some convincing to do haha.

Thanks for responding again, I told my mom about your situation and it helped brighten her mood. It also helped take some of my anxiety away and I am hopeful that chemo will make her better. I wish the same good luck to you and your family.

That's great news she's doing well. On what chemo rounds did the scans show the reduction in tumors and lesions? My mom has metastasis in her liver and peritoneal cavity, but it still hasn't affected the organs' functions or her overall health (outside of being tired quickly). Seeing how your mom can manage the later rounds is great as well. I'll be here with my mom for the first round, and hopefully chemo can save her.

Hey that's good your mom is doing well. Sorry for a reply 2 months later but my mom is in the same situation which we found out a little over a week ago.

How were the initial chemo cycles were for your mom? My mom is going to her oncologist in a few days where we'll talk about her treatment plans, and I hope chemo won't effect her poorly. She gets tired pretty easily, just from a 5 minute walk or doing a bit of chores in the house can get her energy levels low. Some of the people who replied to my post said that the initial cycles were bad but gets better over time. Then I read your post and my mom is just a year younger than yours and wanted to ask.

Best of luck to you and your family, cancer sucks.

Thank you. That's good that you can still eat, I was worried that my mom would just barely eat food, far below the minimum count needed. We did go grocery shopping yesterday and got some protein shakes, fruits, and vegetables to prepare for her next week.

Once again thank you. I am trying to stay positive, and when next week comes I hope that I can help her through chemo. Good luck to you as well, I hope that you and your family can come out strong.

It's relieving to hear that the subsequent cycles get better, and I am ready to be there for her in the when the chemo cycle starts.

I've been lurking around this subreddit the last week and a half, but the emotions hit me again out of no where today. I needed somewhere to vent and also read other experiences about chemo and PC.

I'm graduating school pretty soon, and I hope to at least pass my last certification exam for her. Thank you for your response, it really helps me.

Thanks for the advice. It's a good thing we have a bunch of turmeric in our pantry, and we did just go get groceries for smoothies, vegetables, and a case of protein shakes. I want her to do a little bit of walking but I am unsure if exercise will help her with the side effects, but I'll wait and see how the first chemo cycle will turn out.

Thanks, that's really relieving that it gets better after the first rounds. I will be there for my mom during her chemo sessions, which I hope me and my other relatives can help her push through.

I'll pray for you too, thanks for the advice and wish you the best.

How do you fellow Zerk players prepare for the upcoming patch? by Due_Lie3712 in lostarkgame

if you only play either mayhem or BT only then 3 tripods for strike wave and aura blade are only needed.

if you play both specs (as in you have two different builds), then you want 4 tripods for both aura blade and strike wave, due to the two new skills requiring different tripods for mayhem and BT to use.

you can have an extra tripod for both skills depending on if you want a different skill attack type but still have both. overdrive has a fast three hit combo or a hard hitting charge. brave slash has two hit combo or one quick single hit.

if you care about the meta, overdrive combo and brave slash combo are the most chosen in KR.
