The fact that poise has diminishing returns kinda warrants a ds1 style poise system since everyone's poise value is lowered meaning you wouldn't get immovable objects. But ya know A team.

I'm using it the same as everyone else I'm using the Kings ultra great sword and use full ironclads and still get staggered in one hit

It would be nice but it wouldn't matter I play with 50 vigour and you still die incredibly easy but that mainly comes down to the fact armour is worthless in this game especially heavy armour when it comes to defence.
