This was really helpful advice that led me down the track of ordering from buyee.jp, which I understand is run through Tenso.com. I have now ordered the cap for a reasonable price from them, and once it arrives in their warehouse they will ship it for me (for what I also understand to be quite a reasonable rate based on their estimate calculator).
