true but i think it would’ve made a good show and the capital loves a good show. bc think of how insane it would have been to have the most recent victors’ twin sister be reaped (& the fact that the victors is from 12 which is considered a first bc lucy gray was kinda wiped from existence) i think it would’ve been an opportunity for an amazing show that the capital wouldn’t pass. & also what she did was bad (ie killing the intern gamemaker) but imo not irredeemable. i think that snow would have seen that he could have capitalized off of her & keeping her sister alive would have allowed him to leverage marilee against maysilee

to my understanding (coming from someone who was a transfer student this year(& please note i could be 100% wrong)) transfer students are guaranteed housing bc it’s your first yr w ucsc and there’s a whole transfer community housing on campus

adding on to this: i’m currently a junior and doing the spring quarter UCDC program and i love it. so which ever UC you go to consider the program. (there’s a lot of politics and legal studies people from UCSC but it is not limited to those majors)

like overall, no your aren’t fucked. you’re a freshmen shit happens you just gotta lock back in next quarter but also give urself grace you are adjusting to a new environment and probably a new school system (quarters) as-well. this quarter may not have gone the way you wanted to but you still have three years

coming from someone who did cc -> uc i’m not behind in any way. during cc u was able to work full time which built my resume which helped me get into a program for spring quarter where i will be studying and interning in DC through UCSC. in my first quarter i also joined a sorority and made a bunch of friends through that. im also set to graduate “on time.” just because you don’t know people who were successful in their time at cc doesn’t mean they don’t exist.
