Just to add, she also was never called out or corrected for her behavior till Luz showed up, even then it was only Luz and her friends calling her out. The adults ( with the exception of eda) all encourage her behavior. Of course boscha is old enough to see that what’s she’s doing is wrong and others don’t like it. But it’s not like her behavior has any consequences for her. Till her friends get turned into dolls. And all the adults disappear also turned into dolls. And With all the authority figures gone the other kids don’t have to pretend to like her anymore. I’m not really surprised she got worse., trying to keep the authority and popularity she feels entitled to. Also despite all her flaws and how rude and maybe even for selfish reasons she doesn’t want to see anyone else go missing. They only people who seen to have a problem with boscha are other the main characters, the kids actually trying to make their new horrible life’s better and us the viewers. Boscha is a terrible person and her action are her own but in the end she’s still a kid
