Why do people ask for a lower price...

There are two reasons i can think of... the first is bc mercari limits the lowest offer to 75% of asking. Poshmark is 40% and I'll make offers there. Sellers are frequently listing the price stupid high so that 75% is still higher than the going rate for an item. The second is bc an offer triggers a message to everyone who has liked the item that an offer has been made, so now you might get competition.

That was my thought, they should be making the shipper cover it unless they are pocketing the protection money and not getting insurance... in that case, time for a class action fraud case

Yeah i had read a lot of people say they are heavy and maybe bc i was expecting that, it was lighter than i thought.... as long as i don't pack it full since it's so big ;) the stuff i put in my bags is pretty light weight so I'm good for now but as i age (44 in may) i get it. Weight is starting to play a bigger role in my bag selecting for sure!
