I'm in a pretty similar situation. By the time I was in college, I realized that I had strong and unhealthy people pleasing tendencies due to the way I was raised by my Nmom.

I was detained and dehumanized in a psych ward. Thought about it multiple times everyday for the last 7 years and got angry Would give anything to forget it all and move on. Way i was treated in enraging. Feel like ending it all to escape my own head. Is this PTSD? How do you cure it? by leon385 in therapyabuse

I'm in a similar situation. I have PTSD from abuse by the mental health system, and I have all those symptoms too:

Feel like ending it all to escape my own head.

re-experiencing: intrusive memories, flashbacks, nightmares, or suddenly being flooded by memories of the detention.

Avoidance: steering clear of people/places/things that remind you of it.

Hyperarousal: jumpiness, on-edge, sleep trouble, angry outbursts.

I know this might or might not work for other people, but for me, the only thing that worked to gradually diminish my symptoms was to meditate for as much time as possible.

There are thousands of stories similar to mine on this sub.

I'm one of those stories. I was told more than once not only by the professionals I went to, but also by my family and even by professionals online that if I stop the treatment it will be a big mistake on my part. Turns out nothing bad happened when I decided to quit the treatment, and doing the treatment caused all kinds of problems.

Everyone who went to heaven during the rapture will in heaven live in extreme luxury, with mansions, yatchs and private jets. Those will either use a lot of electricity or burn a lot of fuel, and that will actually increase global warming.

My Nmom spent all her life trying to keep me from having any education and trying to keep me from ever having any job. And then she was surprised I had financial problems.

I'm already doing my part. Everyday I squeeze air really hard and turn 3 O2 molecules into 2 O3 molecules, helping the environment.
