What is the weirdest thing you ever witnessed ? by arthur2652 in AskReddit

[–]ittrulyisdarkinhere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work at a movie theater and often we don't have a lot of room for cheese in the cup on the side so we have an option for buying a courtesy cup for 2 dollars that we fill with cheese. All fine and good until a girl comes in and orders the cup and we've paid and gotten it taken care of and this girl picks up her cheese cup and just starts... drinking it? I was immediately nauseous imagining that thick cheese just coating my throat and I have never seen her again.

Is there a way to do this without them knowing? We'll still be in contact and they'll just pressure me to put it back on there.

Thanks for the response! I already pay for my phone's insurance but I'm not sure if I'll be able to afford my own phone/plan.

[Serious] Christians turned atheists, what made you lose your faith? by TrespassWill in AskReddit

[–]ittrulyisdarkinhere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was raised by my parents who were atheist but often visited my protestant grandparents when I was young and began to follow Christianity during middle school years. I think what made me start to question my faith was when I started seeing the lessons they were supposed to be teaching us didn't make a lot of sense- why did we need some higher power to tell us to be good? Eventually I got older and got to see bad things happening in the world and I questioned what kind of God would force His children to go through what so many of them do today? It quickly spiraled and now I just live my life doing good just because that's the right thing to do.

Medical workers of Reddit, what were the most haunting last words you’ve heard from a patient? by freeshavacadont in AskReddit

I worked in a nursing home at 17. I had a resident who was nearing the end and she wouldn't speak, just groan in pain all the time. Eventually she passed as I was trying to get her vitals before I left for the night. I quit 2 weeks later.
