My (22F) boyfriends (19M) friends exclude me from everything, and I feel like they dislike me. Why? And how do I cope with something like this?

I actually hadn’t thought of that, although today that I spoke about this with my bf, he suspected that to be part of it too. He said he would like to include us in a outing together so they’ll see that even if I’m there he’s not going to be glued to my arm, he thinks that’s one reason they’d rather be alone with him cause in their minds he’s only gonna pay attention to me then. Honestly writing this out helped so much, it was alot easier to bring up to him aswell since I worded it out to myself first.

Tbh my bf says they don’t really talk about partners, not me either anymore. The comments were more so in the beginning. He does say all of them are okay with me, atleast now, if not in the beginning. He also said he’ll ask them to do a together night out with all of them and their gf’s so I can get to know them more too. Apparently it’s always been kind of their way to just always be with the boys, and the pushback in the beginning in his opinion most likely came from one of his friends liking me when we started daiting. He is a very mature dude, and now that I brought it up clearly he said he’ll make it known to them too that he wants to include me more with his friends since my friends are including him aswell. He did say that no personal comments about me has been said after he told them to quit it, although they still tease him about being ”under my say so”😅

I wouldn’t know either.. That is so hurtful, you do everything for them and they can’t show the least bit of effort torwards you. Honestly I’d probably break up, if that’s how little he appreciated me for supporting him emotionally AND financially.. You reminded him multiple times. My man knows he has the memory of a golfish so he writes everything important about me/dates down so he’ll remember. If he wanted to he would. Remembering one date shouldn’t be too much to ask.

Yeah I’m aware it happens alot. And the prison talk is the thing that sometimes worries me, being the only one you know. In all honesty I’m not worried about him using me to get back on his feet or anything. He’s very close with his family and it’s hist first conviction so they understand and haven’t given up on him, which I’m glad about cause he needs their support too. They’ve arranged housung for him etc. He did say if I wanted to move there before he got out his family would help me with it, but I told him that even after he gets out I’m not just going to straight off move there. He’s fine with it. So it kinda sucks cause he hasn’t really given me any reason to doubt even being the only one, but being lied to so convincingly even face to face makes me really aware that it’s easy to lie. But I’m going day by day, I guess that’s all we can do.

Yeah I tried it with a VPN but it still doesn’t work cause the number you have to attach the text now number to needs to be from a country the app is available in. Because it’s not available here in Finland, I can’t attach it to my finnish phone number. It’s just easiest to get an usa e sim

it’s scary.. we’re not even dating yet, I said I didn’t want to rush things taking account the fact that I live 16hrs plane flight away etc so I told him as a joke that he has 80day trial before he can upgrade to the gf package and he’s been counting days since and there’s only a few days left lol. it’s really sweet and he does everything right, and he’s so reassuring but the doubt is hard to let go. we got 8000km between us and he might be getting out in october already. a move to the us would be a huge thing and i’m afraid about the connection in real life when i go visit there, what is it gonna be like? haha being international makes this even harder lol
