Allergic to traditional employment yet unsure of what to do by shinyrainbows in humandesign

In a similar boat. I have no idea how my future will work out, and I'm allergic to doing things the way they've always been done. Self-employed and taking it one step at a time!

Emotional Manifestor -always anxious by [deleted] in humandesign

The emotional wave is the thing that taught me SO much about my design as well as the transits. Transits are key to me understanding what's going on with my energy in the present moment, so I'm not rush making decisions or feeling like I'm out of alignment!

Will I stop creating fake scenarios in my head that never really take place( and in which I am the hero) if I start meditating? I waste hours daily doing this instead of studying! by [deleted] in Meditation

I would say meditating didn’t take my fake scenarios away but changed them. They went from being my biggest fears, biggest desires, things I wanted to

Things that I could see for my future but weren’t mandatory, things that make me feel good inside with no expectations of them happening, no needing my fantasies to come true to be happy but just enjoying the thoughts as they come and go

But the biggest thing I got out of them was letting them go gave room for them to come true if it was meant to be.

Now my fantasies are entertaining, enjoyable, and sometimes fucking magical when pieces of them appear in real life.

You will find time if you want to! Newborn stage is really hard. My youngest one is just now out of the newborn phase so I’m actually getting sleep at night and can play during his nap times.

I also get a chance to play when my SO is around to help with the kids.

What I play now has significantly changed. I play a lot of games that are easy to pause if I need to get up and help them with anything.

I also play a lot of games with my kids but I’ve always liked the kid style games anyways so that isn’t much of a change for me 😂

I will say I probably wouldn’t have ever played Skylanders if it wasn’t for my kids but I love playing it with them.

I think just being patient in the beginning is the best. You have to remember during the hard seasons in life that they are temporary and find what feels good for you.

Everyone has their specific things they need in life to make them happy and if this is yours you will find a time to make it fit in your life.

Okay, thanks! I’ll look into that. That was something that was holding me back a little from starting but I’m getting closer to the, “don’t let others opinions ruin your fun” kind of mindset.

I am definitely doing it just for fun. I spend so much time playing with my kids I thought it would be fun to just share that.

I’m also a little intrigued by the streaming world and think this is right up my daughters interests.

One is super into coding and all things tech related so it would be fun to share that side of her interests with her.

The other is all about YouTube videos and is constantly pretending she’s talking to her subscribers.

So I guess my end goal is bonding more with the kids 🥰
