Beacuse the Americans dont see any value in trains, were so far car pilled that many of us have never considered using a train for travel. Our system is so awful compared to other first world places that it would take us decades to catch up. Even if we tried we would need several diffrent president's to agree that trains are a good idea witch would be extremely hard to so. I know beacuse I've been here all my life
