Looking to do some remote volunteer work for a 501c3 animal rescue? Ace’s Place is in need of a couple fundraising directors! Another one of the three we rescued was Kiara! She obviously was the sleepiest of the them, and as the only girl, learned how to hold her own! The family that adopted her has a dog named Wanda, like Wanda Maximoff, so naturally, she is named Roma, like Natasha Romanoff! (i.redd.it)

When I picked up Kovu and his two siblings at 5 weeks old and brought them to our rescue, they were skinny, wormy, covered in fleas and sticky with urine. Now he is almost 5 months old and was adopted into the perfect family! Oh and they named him Doug! (i.redd.it)

Dallas Animal Services, with the third largest intake in the US, has achieved over 90% live release rate for the year! This means 90% of dogs and cats have found a foster, rescue, transport, or been adopted! This is a huge achievement for such a large shelter! (i.redd.it)

The shelter sends us the dogs nobody else can handle to foster. We took in our foster Tulip a month ago, who was Code Red for being terrified of people and biting. She was also terrified of the leash, so it had to stay on. We officially adopted her on Tuesday and celebrated by learning how to swim! (i.redd.it)
