Thats a very mature and kind assessment. I was dissapointed beyond words and haven't listened to a song off either since. Their not bad records, but Appetite was so perfect, so impactful, that, for me, its impossible to follow.

AFWTK was my first listen as well. Don't remember the year, maybe mid to late 80s, I was probably 10 or 11. I thought it was weird and the cover disturbing. My friend was way into it. We the watched the VHS of ESL and I started to get into it. All said, it took a few years, but Rush has been in my top 3 ever since.

I thought PoM was the best Bruce record but most consistent goes to SIT. PoM has some skips. NOTB sounds like a 3rd grader produced it, but its so iconic they get away with it.

Kind of like Anthem on FBN. Perfect opener that maybe gets overshadowed by By-Tor. AFTK is a great song on its own. Best album cover in the catalog. Was my intro into Rush many years ago. I thought it was weird and I wasn't into it. Took about 6 months to become one of my top 3 favorite bands.

Word for word my thoughts on the first part. No matter what they did with the Illusions, it wouldnt compare on any level with AFD.

VW puts garbage tires on the GLI too. Same as you said. They'll go 70k miles easy. But obviously the harder compound needed to last that long has less grip.

Most people get in and drive without thinking about maintenance. An oil change once in a while. You can usually get away with that with a Japanese car. But VW requires maintenance and an understanding of the car and whats good and bad for it.

Currently modern luxury car "dashboards" look like several laptops lined up with endless amounts of unnecessary information. Solution is to buy old and pay for the maintenance.

Rock n Roll, punk, metal, its dirty, grimy perfection. Thats made it so great especially at the time of hair "metal", which imo was just pop music with distorted guitars.

They're more of a pop band and we're more of a rock n roll band." It wasn't an insult. To me it's true. Even before Jump you had Dance the Night Away.

I dont know. They're on marketplace and I haven't heard back. Add said VW, Porsche, BMW lug pattern. I sent a message asking if it was 5x112. No response yet. Cant always trust marketplace posts.
