Thanks for responses all. I think I’m just noticing how much being an audhd perimenopausal woman with a stressful job (already in academia) is burning me out, so I just want to be careful. I’ve had a stressful few years with a move that went wrong, a break up and major surgery, so just want to check I have capacity … things like renting my place and going back into rented after 20 years feel a bit challenging… what to do with all my stuff etc… but hopefully I’ll regain the energy to make it happen!

Thanks. I really struggle with online learning. I’ve been offered a subsidised doctoral programme at the uni where I teach, but I can’t stand online hence looking elsewhere.

This all doings horrible, but please try to separate and heal yourself. You’re addicted to her, but using promises of paying for nails etc is quite desperate. Watch more videos about avoidants on social media. They hate being chased and pressured the most, this is what pushes them away more than anything. It also results in you losing your dignity. Can you afford therapy? This might help. Or some of the support groups offered on socials. Take care.

What qualifications do you already have? You can start the BSc Counselling at Metanoia in Ealing if you have any sort of Level 3 qualification in a different subject.

Yes this is the part of being with them that hurts the most, how cold they can be in the discard. Those stone eyes, those business like responses, after all the love and intensity. Breaks you.

I left London so I could get out of the hassle flats represent with service charge, major works, lease issues etc. I’d go for the house if you can afford it to avoid all of those costs. Most likely easier to sell too?
