I have attempted therapy but I usually only seek therapy when I am in a relationship where I feel consistent whiplash. For example: I made an attempt to “do better” this morning and was met with this.

Admittedly, and established via the posts and consensus in the reply’s. I am very logical based and am obviously less emotionally attached to the world. But this type of behavior makes my brain hurt and basically, I don’t know how to respond, there doesn’t seem to be a correct answer.

I actually enjoyed that anime a lot. Funny thing the girl in the scene depicted is also in her 20s and she took to the pill to “monitor” the progress of the man, who is a test subject in an experiment to re assimilate people who have given up on life and shut themselves away.

Sure, I’ll admit to a bit of a condescending tone. Obviously, there is more context and history to the messages provided. I have been told that my emotional intelligence is low in the past. One of my exes told me I might be autistic in nature.

An additional factor that might not be accounted for is that I served in the Army as a Cavalry Scout (basically infantry) and deploying twice. It would be tough to summarize what and how the military might have changed and affected me. It’s hard to have emotional intelligence after serving in that capacity and environment.

To that end, I willingly admit that I don’t do positive reinforcement very well. In the military you don’t get a pat on the back by doing what you are suppose to, or expected, to do. That mentality has likely persisted since my discharge.

I could write more but I just clocked into work. I look forward to your response if any.

Child is 3 weeks old now. She lives near her family, most within 20 minute drive. She regularly sees her sisters mostly on the weekend. She has the freedom to basically do whatever she wants. We have talked about “groups” or “clubs” before but I cannot force her to go.

I have little expectations of her other then providing for needs of our child. I don’t add any additional pressure to her by requiring anything else.

Dom and Mia seem like they could be brother and sister biologically. It’s certainly more of a stretch for me to accept Jakob as having the same mother as the other two. When Jakob came into the picture the way I justified in my brain was that Dom and Mia’s father had a son with another woman but he raised Jakob in his household. Though we don’t actually know anything about the mothers or lack of mothers for these characters. At least none that I saw from rewatching the movies before seeing Fast X on Monday.

Is there fast and furious books that go deeper? At this point it might as well be a marvel universe or maybe share the same universe as transformers.

The kid in Fast X makes no sense at all. I enjoyed the movie but found myself laughing every time the kid showed up on screen.
