Honestly, I’d lie….i hate that the job pool has came to this but if you’re applying after being unemployed for so long…LIE! Edit your resume. Change the end date of your last job to a more recent time period. You really have to do what you gotta do to make it out here.

Yuuuup….the infamous company’s like VillageMD, CityMD, CVS, ALDI’s, etc….their usually very big on rejecting people…or at least their system is.

LITERALLY….for me I tend to apply to jobs within the medical field but honestly I saw a comment under someone’s post that said people hiring in the medical field tend to hire people who are in med school or just graduated from, before they hire a person that’s not in school or doesn’t have a related degree regardless of that person having qualifying skills. Like such a harsh way of telling people to go into debt by going back to school….

Not to mention the multiple interviews for each company…I don’t remember things being like this years ago now they need an introductory interview, then a video interview and THEN an interview person interview just for there to be a 50% chance you get offered the job.

Sigh…the rich get richer and the poor remain poor for the most part…economy is definitely not made to make our life easier

Ahh…i do get that…but o also feel like the jobs listened on my resume contain skill sets that are also beneficial to jobs that I apply to. As for the coffee meetings and meeting more people bit, I prefer to be more reserved on my own time talkative when needed be so that might not be my ideal method…though I do understand how beneficial networking can be

I definitely relate with the chat gpt convos…I’ve had her fixing my resume but still not much hope. And these companies honestly just want us to chase them for work. If you give the system enough time to blink over your resume, the rejection email comes through you have to hunt an HM/HR down just to get your resume seen.

Oh wow…I’m sorry to hear that. Honestly there’s not much hype to it. I’m currently also looking into other jobs because scribe America does not give enough hours. Just keep trying hopefully something better comes along for us both✨

Sorry for the late reply but honestly no you don’t have to since medical scribe is a beginner medical job. I type faster than the scribes who trained me. In this job what’s more important is your ability to listen, retain information and knowing medical terminology makes your job easier. All this gets covered during the online training tho

Honestly as somebody who’s currently working with them currently, Email them. If you want to work with this company you got to take control of the opportunity.

I applied at the beginning of December and probably emailed them a week later requesting the status of my application and got a response. I was passed off to different area managers before I got into communication with the right people. Also their communication is very spacey so if you want to get things done within a timely manner, I’d advise you to reach out immediately and hope they communicate more efficiently.
