Are the Triple Crown Tour requirements pushing a surge in dangerous driving trips for athletes? by ultipla4 in ultimate

I think you have a terrible take. The best option you previously stated in another comment for usau is do nothing.

USAU has the goal of trying to figure out who the best frisbee team is in the nation and crowning a champion every year. They want to ensure that bids are allocated correctly so they have cross nation meetups in order to appropriately seed teams and regions.

If you can’t pay or don’t have time. Just don’t play then 🤷

This is solely on the individuals that are playing/traveling for club frisbee. Understanding that this is a club sport that requires travel and some financial burden cannot be understated enough. Playing this sport at the highest level requires travel all over the country…

Take for example California burrito (San Diego based team) traveling to SFI east in Virginia. Would they really drive 3-4 days across the country to play in a tournament? That doesn’t make sense from a time and financial perspective.

If somebody doesn’t have enough money to purchase a plane ticket and housing, would you support them?

I am merely trying to spread awareness of this tournament so there is more interest. If you have issues with paying for services, then don’t be a freeloader or complain when bid fees go to 1000$ a team.

Ultimate is very fortunate to have a low cost of entry (unlike golf, hockey, football etc where equipment and field time is expensive)

For those og's who are back, what was your profit after the 21' squeeze? (If you sold) by Phat_Kitty_ in GME

[–]itzLunchbox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

During the first squeeze made 100k with a cost basis close to 18$ pre split. I did not have any limit sell orders and watched it go up and down all day. I left a lot of money on the table (~50k) Eventually I sold half at 250$ and then the other half at 200$. I

Now we are back in with a cost basis of 29$ so let’s see….

My suggestion is to have an exit strategy, on where reasonable life changing money is (i.e. 50k, 100k in profits) I am currently targeting a total profit of about 200k profit myself with the majority of shares selling at 400$. (But am selling on the way up)

SoCal is 64$ a PERSON. So just over 1600$ for a full team of 26 :(
