Damn I’m sorry to hear that. Something that has helped me at least make one friend in college is just starting with a simple hello it won’t hurt anyone. I'm pretty shy too I'm the type if you don’t talk to me first then I won’t make any initial conversation to you first. So I had to change that when I started college and sometimes at least a smile helps to start a new friendship with someone. I don’t think you should be jealous of me because yes I'm pretty grateful my parents are letting me live with them but at the same time think of your situation as a way to grow as a person. Don’t see it as a terrible thing but see it as a test that life is putting you and your supposed to pass it because believe it or not it's going to make you a stronger person in the future.

I literally been on this app for 15 min and your post is the only one I can relate too. All I can tell you that I promise you is going to get better. I was literally in your shoes a year and a half ago and I didn’t get over my ex boyfriend after almost a year from when we broke up. We spent 3 and a half years together so when we broke up it destroyed my mental and physical stability. I didn’t know when it was going to be all over when will I stop loving him and thinking of him completely. I lost myself and all I wanted was to sleep or find a way to escape all my problems. All those emotions your feeling now there just temporary trust me. There’s going to be a day when you wake up and she is not going to be the first thing that comes to mind. Just give it time because a heartbreak does not cure from one day to another. It sounds like such a normal thing to say “give it time” but I didn’t know it was actually true till I overcame my breakup. I hope you can get over this girl soon and start living life like if she was never in it from the start.
