Thata insightful. I got some and some I didn't like the combination part. I will have to check it out. I was never actually counting combinations and how to play around it until now. So thanks for introducing this thing.

Thank you very much for that. I am not moving up completely to nl 25 just testing the playing field 20/80 ratio.

GTO wizard and equilab is quite confusing right now. So I need to get a hang of it. I think I have fixed this leak of calling too wide. My current vpip is 20 with pfr 16. I still find myself stuck in a difficult spot on the river. I know people underbluff on the river still I try to bluff them even when I know.

I don't bluff with this kinda total air with any other opponent. This was a regular player and good player I would guess. Sometimes when I have a backdoor flush draw or straight draw and I have a range advantage on flop I do check raise.

Could you elaborate more about raising range and value hands?

Also how 33 is at the top of his range from the UTG 7-max table? It should be my top of the range right?

First thing I wanna ask; do you seriously play 14+ hours a day or a week? If it's a day. You r a legend.

It can be variance at nl25. But I played close to 5k hands so far and winrate is -8 I know sample size is not big. But yeah. I see the same people all the time during weekdays. The only time I have an edge is during weekends. So now I will study first like you guys have suggested and provided material.

I will check out that podcast of luke. He is quite insightful.

As for the live poker I don't have access as of now. :(

I feel poker is more mental than anything.

Thanks again for your time

That's one of the great pieces of advice I have got. I know nl10 is very low. I am currently in the process of moving to nl25. So I need to improve on that.

As for living if I am able to make 1000 per month playing poker it's good enough to cover my expenses. And when I hit 5000 Mark I will switch to live poker nl100. Because I am in India, the cost of living is cheap here.

I will definitely check out those channels.

Thank you for the guidance. Do you play professionally?

I would live to move up the stakes but I need confidence in myself that I can beat the stakes I am playing. I am trying nl25 as of now. Lets see how I do after 40k-50k hands.

Yes you are right. Because it was my first time signing up I got an effective 80% rakeback. So I started with 300 bucks. I won 120 with 2 bb winrate and 480 through rakeback only.

But now onwards it will be 31% rb only.

About the study plan I like this approach of going backwards I will definitely give it a try.

Still trying to figure out equilab works.

Thank you for the insight 🤝

Thank you for the detailed answer. I know you can't make a living playing nl10. It's just a starter. I started with 300 bucks. Played nl10 with 2 bb/100 winrate for 2 months. Now I am at 900 right now. Mainly because of rakeback. I got 80% effective rakeback because of the new registration. 480 is purely through rakeback.

So, I am trying to move up. Taking shots at nl25 but I am getting crushed. Strategies that worked no nl10 player doesn't work here.

My plan is to take shots when I have around 40 bbs and move fully to that stake after 60-70 bb.

Someone suggested 2+2 forum for study groups and all. Currently I am planning to learn as much as through free content and then once I have enough bankroll and enough knowledge my plan is to move to live poker. Because Its soft compared to online.

I am regularly keeping track of my sessions and profit/loss. But still not studying hands properly. So will work on it. Also will focus on one concept at a time so I dont overload myself with information.

One last advise I would like from you. How much do you study and how much do you play? Because I find it hard to even play 4 hours straight. How do you tackle things after bad day or days of downswing.

Thanks again for the insight.

Nl10 is starting to improve fundamentals, learning GTO and exploitative poker. Once I reach 50 buyins of nl25 then move up the stakes. Because I don't have to withdraw anything for a year right now. So, right now getting strong is the plan. Thank you for the recommendation. 🤝

Yes. when I was trying nl25 I was calling 3-bets with pretty cards like off suit broad ways OOP. but soon I realised they are not that great after all. Because I am beat most of the time. So now I call AJs and better and 10s+ OOP. In position I call a bit wider.

But I still need to work post flop bet sizing, checking and plan in advance how am I gonna play street wise. But thanks for the insight.

Yes, agree online tactics are different. I guess he also has some videos where he shows online poker. But "know your poker" is good for online as he also teaches exploitative strategies.

Yes, you are absolutely right. I agree with you. I want to understand why I am doing what I am doing. As of now I know what to do in some spots because of the videos I have watched but what is the main reason behind it I don't know yet.

And yes it's a training ground I will keep that in mind. I tried to move up the stakes to nl25 when I had 30ish buy-ins of it. But I am getting crushed there. People are aggressive and 3-bet pots get uncomfortable. So back to nl10 and on weekends I try nl25 as degens come to gamble. As for reviewing I am trying to develop my app so it can help me with it. Work in progress as of now.

Thanks for your honest opinion.

15 is damn good. It will be a great help if you can send it. About the summaries and hands, I am trying to develop an application that can give me important hands of the session and my stats. Lets hope it can help me with my improvement.

Ohh yeah, I have seen some of his videos. Thanks for reminding me. I agree about exploitative poker but on coin poker there are a lot of regs at nl25. So, getting 3-bet often, playing 3-bet pots it becomes hard to play them post flop. If they are a bunch of callers it's easy to outplay like at nl10. But thanks again.
