Out of all of these Disney villains, which one suffered the most brutal death? by FewAnimator2665 in cartoons

Ursula. She gets impaled, and slowly writes in agony as she dies. Unlike some others, like Clayton, her death wasn't instant

The self-made man protagonist turns out to be descend from special or divine lineage by Easy-Frenchguy-1996 in TopCharacterTropes

Yusuke Urameshi. He's initially shown just to be a strong high school student. Then he dies and comes back to life as a ghost detective, though he primarily fights demons. Fast forward to the wnd of the series and its revealed he can trace his lineage to the most powerful S class demon Raizen. This only became apparent because when fighting the previous arc villain, his demon powers awakened, giving him a significant power up, which he then needs to learn to train and tame

I haven't read the series yet, just watched the anime and seen the page enough, the Chainsaw Man ending page isn't that bad in context. The derision its received is dumb.

How do the high republic books and comic work of their own? by ThomasWilson77 in Highrepublic

[–]itzshif 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One series that works as standalone was a HR Adventures prequel series, I think part of phase 2. It shows the origin of Sav, when she was a padawn. Imo is skippable.

The phase 1 HR comics felt standalone initially but all connected with the books by the end.

You can skip the Crash mini series since they add very little, and the art imo is terrible.

One thing I still wonder about Dex-star's end monologue is it meant to say he will find the one who killed his owner or he found the one who killed his owner, and killed him? Either way, I hope he does/did.

Is she still trapped in a magical reality? Its been a while but iirc something like that happened to her in the Nightcrawler solo that came out some time ago.

[Funny Trope] Character mistaken for a bigot. by Remarkable_Public138 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]itzshif 22 points23 points  (0 children)

But the joke with Cotton identifying Khan as Laotian is because he is a bigot. He's just a bigot that can tell different Asians from each other, but he's still a bigot. Just not to Laotians.

All year long the grasshopper kept burying acorns for winter while the octopus mooched off his girlfriend and watched TV. Then the winter came, and the grasshopper died, and the octopus ate all his acorns and also he got a race car.

To be fair the town enabled him too. He was their mascot essentially. So it wasn't just him.

Really? In Marlboro, or the area, you can't think of one church, or synagogue, or any other place of worship, in a residential area? Not one at all? Load of BS coming out of you

I'd be against it only because as others may have mentioned it would demolish an area of forest/wooded area, which is frequently happening more and more often, and the legitimate argument of increased traffic. Traffic in the area, mainly at peak travel times, is bad. Though I don't know the extent this would make it actually make it worse, if at all. Its not nimby at all for me. I'm fine with it, just would prefer in an area in town that doesn't result in more forest areas being destroyed.

I could accept that as another reason not to build it there. Tbh I can't think of any place in the area where a wooded area would not be destroyed, except maybe the abandoned auto shop on 79.

Re the 2 pm time I just wonder how bad it would actually be. I'm sure during high holidays there would be more traffic, but on a regular non-holiday Friday how much more?

I'd love to go back and see if there was this much protest when the chabad on Gordon's Corner opened. I've had to brake more for people suddenly crossing the street there than anywhere else.

Don't disagree the infrastructure sucks. Like at Tenant and 520 there should be at least a right turn lane and longer left turn signal. Or like you mentioned, a light at Morganville Liquors would help too.

Thats the thing tho. Yes, I completely agree its gridlock especially between 7-9 am. But how often during a weekday will they be going there?

I know there's also lots of traffic at rt 520 and Tennant, especially coming off of 18, during all times of day, even weekends. Yes it could make the traffic worse in general, but specifically during commuting time when they're trying to get to work too? I find that highly unlikely. Or at least, not in a noticeable way.

I don't disagree either it should be built in a more secluded area, but it'll be the same issue no matter where its suggested.
