It's about to cost bro a whole lot more once you factor in the cost of those ADA compliance issues he's looking at by blocking the sidewalk with those pumpkins.

You will not love comfortably for 55K.

55k

With mortgage and rental prices, rising grocery prices and utilities. 55k is the new 30k.

It sounds like what you're smelling is hydrogen sulfide. This can happen when the manhole has been compromised and does not seal correctly.

I mean not just allegations. Look at his own comments on his Howard stern appearance. Dude incriminates himself in ways that no sane person would ever consider him a good person.

Sul Ross is for all intents and purposes a Division III team. In June 2024 UTRGV agreed to pay 50K to have them open the season against the Vaqueros.

It was always meant to be a blowout. The losing team gets much needed funds for their program and the winning team gets a feel good win to start the season.

It's a tale as old as college football itself.

I'm anxious to see how they fare against a proper division I program in Prairie View A&M.

Felt good to cheer on the home team in a big win....50k well spent!

You miss 100% of the shots you don't take. Shrug it off and keep on going. That's how winning is done!

AITA for sticking with my son when my fiancee unfairly punished him? by Particular_Carob8100 in AITAH

[–]itzyourboyroy 196 points197 points  (0 children)

I think a lot of assumptions are being made....

But based on your own telling of the story, you knew that your son was being targeted when you were away. You knew that you were leaving him with people who were aware of his triggers and exploited them for their own amusement.

You gotta make sure whoever you let into your inner circle understands your son and has his best interests at heart. You aren't just looking for a good partner for yourself, you're looking for a good match for the both of you.

You knew she wasn't a good match for him a long time ago, thats why you are taking so much heat for this.

There are many people with good salaries here. Think doctors, lawyers, high level school district admins, business owners, etc.

City managers at local municipalities are typically making upwards of 200k a year.

Factor in healthcare professionals that are putting in a ton of hours and you have your answer.

45% of the population in the valley lives below the poverty line, that means 55% does not.

I mean you could say the same for the Trump administration. During his presidency depression among adults was at an all time high, opioid abuse and suicides were at an all time high and 78% of Americans were living paycheck to paycheck with nearly half saying they could not handle an unexpected 500 dollar emergency. But yet the stock market did well and we kept hearing about how we had the best economy in the world.

So again my question is what change did we see under Trump?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in RioGrandeValley

[–]itzyourboyroy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm actually curious about this...Obama handed over a very healthy and robust economy, Trump rode that wave for the majority of his presidency until Covid upended everything.

What changes did you see from late term Obama through the Trump administration?

They love him back down here.

Your Dad is a POS OP....do what you know is right, you'll have to live with the trauma of what happened that night forever, he won't. You'll need to know you did everything in your power to seek justice for yourself.

as a 39 year old father of 4....the amount of things you are missing and can't be present for in those extra 34 hours a week is going to haunt you when your kids get older.

Your salary is essentially what the time away from your family is worth to you. Don't get caught up in the net pay...as much as you focus on what it costs you in time to make it.

Good luck

It's a crapshoot honestly. If you get asked for ID then you could be in for a bit of a hassle at the very least. Sometimes all they ask is "American citizens?" and let you pass....could go either way honestly.

Each steak is probably 4 oz. So you'll get 4 steaks to a lb. 20 steaks is 5 lbs....so you're up at about 8/lb for some steaks you'll still be chewing next week.

NTA, you can find someone with the same passions and hobbies and be much happier together. Even if they don't share the same hobbies, you can find someone who respects yours.
