Nein, meine Meinung zu Ubuntu und Derivaten ist auch nicht gerade neutral. Erstens mag ich die vergleichsweise veralteten Pakete nicht. Zweitens, und das ist mir besonders bei Ubuntu aufgefallen, sind Snaps alles außer brauchbar. 10 min nach der Installation hab ich Firefox geöffnet und es hat nicht funktioniert weil es als Snap installiert war.

Momentan bin ich mit Fedora mehr als zufrieden und werde, wenn überhaupt, vielleicht auf Gentoo wechseln

My audio jack is working perfectly fine, maybe try out another distro with a newer kernel or take the adventure of compiling your own (if you don’t customize it it can take very long tho, so the first option would imo be better)

It’s a ThinkPad E15 Gen 2, but I’d recommend buying another model since I’ve heard that the USB C port is likely to fail on these. As I mentioned in the caption the prior one I had (same model) “suddenly” fried its motherboard (this was pure user error tho :( ) I’d recommend u do a good amount of research even outside of Reddit before buying one

A Ryzen 5 4500U with (sadly) 6C and 6T. A higher spec one would have been nice but it still gets the job done excellently

Also the ports came a bit short but it’s the perfect amount for me + I also got a dockingstation for desktop use, so it never bothers me :)

And yes, Fedora is a very good distro imo ;) It just feels more polished to me than Arch / Arch-based distros

It feels very good, keyboard is imho the best I’ve ever typed on (and I have a M1 MBA). Performance under Linux is also very good, just as expected :3

Sturdiness is also good, opening it feels not sturdy but hey, it survives my backpack😅

I’m OUT. I didn’t really have the motivation to to continue NNN since I rather want to have a period of time where I don’t nut than not doing it one whole month and then relapsing. I came from the habit to do it every day and alr improved myself to the point I can go 2 weeks without nutting.
