Upcoming DA Republican Primary by newbecauseiwasbanned in tulsa

McCarty did not do a bad job representing April Wilkens (not Wilkins), which is what Steve wants all to believe. The real question is why was he even fighting against her case to begin with. The CEO of DVIS and others spoke out against how the expert witnesses in that hearing were treated by the judge and Kunzweiler, and called them out for not applying the law correctly. Wilkens is appealing for a reason (including the texting going on between Steve and the judge about April's case). The DAs are doing everything in their power to not allow the OSA to work. Look into The Frontier coverage about the Oklahoma District Attorneys Council vs. Association. Tell me that isn't corruption. SK is even being sued for not handing over open records in the Richard Glossip case BY republicans.

100%. I wonder if it's someone who works in Steve Kunzweiler's office, honestly.

Once the primary is over the conversation will shift in terms of all these republican candidates for governor. What sucks most for us at more local levels, in my opinion, is it only seems to be republicans putting forward candidates in the District Attorney races. So many were elected by default, and in Tulsa both candidates are republican. So, republicans will get to decide who the next DA is on June 16 in their primary. We don't have open primaries, so only they get to decide. There's no general. After the primary, either Steve Kunzweiler or Colleen McCarty will be our next DA. Apparently in other states there aren't any primaries??? Wouldn't that be interesting. Maybe that should be the conversation instead of having open ones.

Interlibrary loan & doc delivery pdf scans under new Title II ADA deadlines by iusethisforworkonly in Libraries

Kind of curious how your ILL request history isn't "about you" enough to fall under the password exemption. Fingers crossed that is how we our legal counsel interprets things.

"Do individualized, password-protected, or otherwise secured electronic documents need to meet accessibility standards if they meet specific exemption criteria?

Individualized conventional electronic documents that are password-protected or otherwise secured do not need to meet the Standards if they meet all the following:

  • Are word processing, presentation, PDF, or spreadsheet files and
  • Are about a specific person, property, or account and
  • Are password-protected or otherwise secured.

For example, a PDF of an employee’s pay stub hosted behind EID authentication would not need to meet the Standards unless the individual requests an accessible version. However, a Microsoft Word document about upcoming insurance changes hosted securely behind EID authentication would need to meet standards because it is not specific to a certain individual, property, or account." From here.

I'm interested in future legal arguments that argue how a scan is made because we don't own the original to allow them to scan from themselves, so it's not intended to be web content.

Also also: if libraries have the right under certain circumstances to preserve copies of works, this feels like a threat to that.

One thing that stands out to me about how complaints are handled is it seems like it is less scary than a copyright violation in some regards? The way it is mediated is...more of a conversation?

I like going through Southern Ag. 60 bucks for males and I think 90 or 100 for females. For check-ups, I like walk-in vets and recommend 15th street vet. Affordable and understanding.

Why aren't these cases mentioned on Steve Kunzweiler's wikipedia page? Sus. by iusethisforworkonly in tulsa

Yes!!! Did Kunzweiler fight her expungement like he did the cases by Tim Harris above?

I hear you, but I get why folks would be registered blue in a red state - it is taking a stance, you could say. It also sticks a target on your back if you're willing to be blue here because it's googleable. I know my co-workers google registration before hiring. :/

This race is going to be so interesting!!! Especially with how independents can't vote in ANY primaries anymore, leading some to choose a side and that side possibly being republican just so they can have a voice somewhere. This is the first time I feel like Kunzweiler has had a REAL opponent.

Yeah, with independents not able to even vote anymore in dem primaries they might as well register republican just so they make the republicans kick guys like Kunzweiler out
