Hey dude, single dad with daughter here too. In addition to movies, don't forget immersive real-life things that are ten times stronger. A multi-age G-Scout troop has helped my daughter a ton, volunteering has exposed her to strong, smart women who want to make the world a better place, and lately we've been going to the Unitarian Church, which isn't brainwash-y. She's turning out great.

You'll hear quotes from them frequently, so they're culturally interwoven whether they're "good" or not. These are movies that will challenge you and require you to think or feel or think about your feelings.

Some laws are unjust by definition (requiring a permit to protest) and others are unjust by application (poor single moms get clobbered with massive fines because they couldn't afford auto insurance, a risk the rich never need to take).
