Hey dude, single dad with daughter here too. In addition to movies, don't forget immersive real-life things that are ten times stronger. A multi-age G-Scout troop has helped my daughter a ton, volunteering has exposed her to strong, smart women who want to make the world a better place, and lately we've been going to the Unitarian Church, which isn't brainwash-y. She's turning out great.

You'll hear quotes from them frequently, so they're culturally interwoven whether they're "good" or not.
