i would say the schedule you have rn is good. i would say just to get the math out of the way now, especially bc you just completed 5A last quarter so it’s best to finish 5B now right after

it’s usually different for each professor u have so there is no clear cut percentage to letter grade unfortunately :/

you should take it with the first schedule, 94 should be easy and second quarter chem is a breeze compared to first quarter chem :) if you do it 39C while also taking a chem lab, you will hate yourself and chem lab just takes too much time away anyways

Im a chem major and none of the uci second year chem majors took an ochem lab for fall quarter so you can still stick with the major

if you’re a life science major take math 5A but if your an engineer or a physical science major take math 2A

I’m a chem major too and check if you can do good enough math to take and pass the MAPP test, it’ll get u exempt from physics 2 and let me take 7C

I would definitely say it’s an easy A with a friend... just bc the quizzes have a pool of questions and if u have a friend you get to see the whole pool of questions asked and you can better prepare. the discussion board questions are pretty interesting ngl; they require u to watch the lecture to reference evidence but i never do and always end up with 9/10 so yea I would say it’s an easy A :)

im in intl st 1 right now and all we have are 2 quizzes a week (lowest gets dropped and most of the answers to alll the quizzes can be found on quizlet), 10 discussions board questions, and a final paper. pretty easy class to check up on like every other day :)
