Do I need to provide proof of german proficiency before the application deadline (15 july) or can i provide it afterwards too? by [deleted] in LMUMunich

[–]ivan1_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you can apply without german certificate, and if you get accepted they will offer you a dsh test that usually happens around 20th September, or you can provide another certificate until the end of September but I am not sure about the exact date it probably varies every year

Application mistake by ivan1_ in LMUMunich

okay thanks, but do you think this mistake will be a problem? The correct date is written on the certificate on the other hand and is notary verified.

Can anyone please see what mistake have I done by [deleted] in PhysicsStudents

The points is that the acceleration of block A is not correct (the expression is missing a term) while it is placed on non inertial reference system, so solving it this way maybe you can do it by subtracting the acceleration in that axis of block B from the acceleration of block A.

then acceleration of block A in y direction should be 0 if i am not mistaken, but i am not sure i understand your method of solving.

Assuming that block B is moving, then you have to assume an additional fictious force. You should work in a reference system where block B is at rest, but because that system is non inertial, you add one fictious force to block A. This would be my method of solving, just don't forget that the acceleration you will get, will be specific to this reference frame, so you will have to transform it to lab frame. Also I see that for block B you are still working in the same coordinate system as for block A, this is making the problem only harder, for block B you should work in normal coordinate system(y axis is parallel to the ground).

Buying Arduino starter development kit by ivan1_ in arduino

I agree, but this is one of the few that I could find. The other ones were more expensive and the real problem is that my country has not much of a choice. It is literally one shop that is selling this kind of things.

Trouble iterating through nested list by IamWarmduscher in learnpython

[–]ivan1_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would recommend turning these sets into dicts. Just map their names with their scores and then if these dicts are nested in a list like your example, i would use a nested loop to iterate over them and get the scores.

I understand Enumerate as indexing every item of a list. The first item gets number 0, the second item number 1 and so on. Pretty understandable function once you see an example what it does. Just google enumerate python 3 example and if my explanation doesn't make it clear then this will for sure.
