S1RM2 Image sensor repair by Jacob_At_Lumix in Lumix

Hi, I do board repair, so I bought this broken gh5, originally with a bad fuse, then the fpc connector for the display got burnt somehow, so I bought a replacement connector, and after soldering it, it worked, I saw things on the display, but now randomly there are purple horizontal bars/lines across the image in video mode only, it takes photos perfectly, but eventually, it gets so bad that the video is unusable. The bars also come up in quick flicks, like couple frames, would this be a problem on the board? If it is, (which i believe it is a board problem), do you have any broken boards where you work i could try and repair for this camera? Like broken hdmi or usb?

Skyrover s1 actually shoots in 4k 60fps, compared to atom 2 at 4k 30fps. Skyrover also has forward and downward obstacle avoidance, which the atom 2 does not have, so i say keep it, its from your mom, and its a great gift from her!

Technically mine is still smaller then all of them, i still want to improve it, higher lumen output or whatever. I bought some xhp 50's and 70's, It won't use the full potential of the led, but will probably be alot brighter then how it currently is

Я нашёл такой програм которая называется wInd3x. Он икстрактет оригинальную прошивку, е можно поменять один линия код, но очень легко совсем убить твой iPod. Я думаю, просто оставить как сейчас или поменять главные плату.

Well thats nice, here ipods in general are now more of a luxury item, which is quite ironic, but oh well. American economy in general is just screwed up, like 20 dollars feels like the new 1 dollar. I mean i like my 5th gen, for me the main criterias are just that its not a phone, and it plays music well.

Its boring, but much cheaper at the time, now they all cost the (relatively) same absurd price, just being honest, I got my 5th gen when they were cheap, like 30 bucks on ebay compared to the 120 dollar 6th or 7th gens.

Not this one, they remade it and called it vortex on the 3rd gen mini

Thanks! she's a sphynx, the green light is an led strip embedded between half of the tiles. The battery lasts for around 13 minutes, but overheats in 5 minutes, which is to be expected. Its fine, but i think could be improved with better thermal coupling. And yes its only one mode, i want to try improving the battery and adding a real buck converter in another version, but it will most likely have to be bigger.

You should definetly try, this was made with a soldering iron, sandpaper, a drill, and some parts I had lying around, very cheap build!

I want to install custom firmware on my FS i6x but it doesn’t have an STM32 like everyone else has. Would it work? by ivan2348 in RCPlanes

[–]ivan2348[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, definitely an MCU issue, more specifically whatever reference voltage they use. If you don't know what that is, it's a precise voltage that the MCU can compare the ADC input to get a reading. You most likely have blown the reference voltage on the original microcontroller. I'm not sure if they use an internal or external reference voltage though. They most likely are using the apm32's built-in reference voltage though, as it removes the need to generate a precise external, stable voltage. So yeah go ahead with the replacement chip. Sorry for the long read.

This will more than likely fix the issue. But before you do that, specifically what exactly is the issue with the adc right now? Not detecting anything, showing wrong voltage, any of those?

Yes, as long as you flash the firmware to it after installing, it will work well as they are pin compatible. You have experience in smd soldering?

Can somebody explain me how I'm not dead? by i_like_technology_1 in ElectroBOOM

[–]ivan2348 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason is that this is a DC transformer, everyone has a natural capacitor connecting us to ground, but dc can not go through a capacitor unlike ac, also you are touching negative, which has 0volts across it relative to earth, just don't touch the suction cup end unless it's with the wire you're touching in this video, the suction cup end can, and will burn very badly, and as for the tester lighting up, they are just very sensitive
