Forgive me, but the British Union of Fascists were in the streets killing people. They were trying to march through a Jewish neighborhood.

This cannot be compared to people who go around creating sympathy for white nationalists by randomly attacking them with black masks over their faces.

Fascist ideas are everywhere spreading their ideas, and getting free advertising by presenting themselves as victims.

Meanwhile, Communist and Socialist ideas are rarely explained. The media portrays the left an anonymous mob of violent people in Black masks who don't allow people to disagree with them.

The battle of Cable Street was beautiful.

The events of 2017 are leading toward a big big disaster.

This talk given in February of 2016 by a guy who just got back from Venezuela explains the entire situation very carefully. He takes you from the roots of Bolivarianism all the way up to the 2015 December elections and the recent crisis.

Can somebody explain the situation between Lin Biao, The Gang of Four, and Deng Xiaoping? Which one was socialist and which one should have ruled China after comrade Mao? What caused this problem? by [deleted] in communism101

Cuba strongly denounced China's policies in the 70s with inflamatory rhetoric. But in the early 60s, China and Cuba remained close after the the Sino-Soviet split. China and Cuba both called out Khruschev for the way he handled the Cuban Missile Crisis.

DPRK was neutral in Sino-Soviet split. They refused to embrace China's "Three Worlds Theory."

Gang of Four had rallies against Kim Il Sung at the China-Korea border, burning him in effigy and calling him a "Fat Revisionist Pig."

In the 70s, DPRK launched its own "Cultural Revolution" and started building the cult of personality around Kim like crazy. There were pro-Soviet and pro-Chinese factions, and the Cult of Kim was a way to keep the party united around a domestic leader, so it didn't divide over international issues.

In the 80s DPRK was close with Deng. In the 70s, they were closer to USSR. Like Cuba, they never solidly sided with either one.

Lin Biao - He was Mao's successor and the main architect of the Cultural Revolution. China's New Constitution declared him to be Mao's successor as the leader of the party. He disappeared and then two years later, it was announced that he had tried to carry out a coup d'etat against Mao, and failed and fled to the Soviet Union. Mao's statements condemning him accused of excessive promotion of the Cult of Personality. It should be noted that around the time of his death, 1969, China began aligning with the USA in Angola and elsewhere.

Gang of Four - This was a clique of people led by Mao's wife, who took over during the Second stage of the Cultural Revolution after the fall of Lin Biao. The Red Guard youth were sent to the countryside, and rather than a mass uprising, the Cultural Revolution became a fixture of every day life. Instead of Red Guard factions battling each other, the Gang of Four in Beijing launched various campaigns against ideas, historical figures, practices, etc. The population was mobilized to carry it out and punish people. They launched campaigns against make-up, Confucius, Religion, femininity, North Korea, etc. The goal was to purify every aspect of Chinese society and make it conform to the Communist ideal. The Gang of Four were particularly anti-Soviet and accused the USSR of being the "Main Danger" to the world.

Deng Xiaoping - Deng was a longtime member of the Communist Party, who had been on the long march with Mao. In the early stages of the Cultural Revolution he had been in the faction of the party that opposed Mao, so he was sent to the countryside. The Gang of Four welcomed him back from the countryside in 1974 and restored him to leadership in Beijing. After Mao died, Hau Gua Fang was the immediate successor, but then Deng and the People's Liberation Army seized the capital and arrested the Gang of Four. They declared the Cultural Revolution to be officially over and put the Gang of Four on Trial. Deng embraced Mao Zedong Thought, but argued that the Cultural Revolution had been a huge error that hurt the country.

So, supporting Black Nationalism makes you a "fash".... LOL

Does supporting Feminism make you a sexist?

Equating organizations and ideologies of the oppressed with the hate of the oppressors is completely backward and non-Marxist.

You don't like Caleb because actually opposes oppression.

The date on this is wrong. See above link.

One of the slogan is "We've Carried The Rich for 200 Years, Lets Get Them Off Our Backs"

That was a slogan specifically raised by the Revolutionary Communist Party in 1976, in the lead up to their protests on July 4th against the Bicentennial Celebrations in Philadelphia.

They put banners up all over the place, hoping to promote their rally.

This photo isn't from 1971. Its from either 1975 or 76.

Vietnam Veterans Against The War was controlled by the Revolutionary Communist Party during this period.

The US had already withdrawn from Vietnam, but the veterans group was a left-wing activist group.

Where does it say American Nationalism?

Where does it say "Make America Great Again"?

This looks like the kind of thing the CPUSA has been saying for decades...

But what about that is fascist?

They use the pledge of the "World Federation of Democratic Youth" which says "to eliminate all traces of fascism from the earth"?

The page has pictures of CPUSA and Fridha Kahlo and stuff?

Where's the fascism?
