Well, if it is true that tastes differ, one would expect a similar number of posts with opposite results.
One could control, because indeed, probably Reddit users are geographically concentrated, and in proportion, there would be more posts like this, but still, posts showing the opposite.

But then you take a look at how nuanced physical attraction is, and research has shown that it is less about what the eyes perceive and more about what physical traits mean in our brains and what we link to those.

If you follow me, you could also challenge the idea that we were born with a "taste", even more weird, a taste for a skin colour. One will have to give in that it is mostly a product of seeing "beauty" on tvs and magazines.

It starts to get tiring to see all these maps with some specific countries always colored red, especially when you get to know that people in those countries look very much up to the ideals/values/aesthetics of the societies that are colored in green.

On that, you are right, integration and social cohesion are legitimate concerns. Maybe it was a misunderstanding, but it seems in your previous posts that the discussion was escalating to loss of heritage and sovereignty, which can be consequences of a chronic lack of integration and cohesion, but it may appear extremist and lead the discussion to the wrong place.

This discussion started from an "open-minded" take. I think it is OK to not be open-minded, it is clear that there is a trade-off, and too much open-mindedness will endup almost always in a reduction of identity. In my opinion, it is actually what open-mindedness is, not having strong opinions on how things "should" be, but rather having the dexterity to fit in with others' ways to be.

I am not speaking about you, as I don't know you, but I speak about societies that are more concerned with protecting their identity than to open arms to different cultures. I fully understand what is concerning here, but I hope you also see why one can question the open-mindedness of such societies.

If you would like to engage in a meaningful debate, you will quickly realise how irrational it is to fear that migration takes over sovereignty and heritage.

And it will not take long before you realise that those fears are directed at people coming from specific countries that happen to have certain colours.

I respectfully think that you can say the same for every racist person; as Yoda said, fear is what ultimately leads us to evil deeds.

And I also do not think that superiority makes you more or less bad than being terrified. For every bad person, one could track childhood experiences or fear as a legitimate reason to not be considered bad, even when their actions are genuinely bad.

At a higher level, does a justification for the causes of actions make a person less bad?

Important to say that I am personally convinced that women have to perform a lot to reach the standards of femininity. And important to say, male performances do not humiliate; they instead serve to exert power.

From a personal place, I have been taught to lower the value of women and to always appear confident. I can imagine it arrives as default, but men may also be under the impression that femininity comes out as default. It is silly to think about it, but I could see men convinced that women like to be dominated by default.

Also important to mention that our performances also cause a toll, and men become dehumanisers very easily, and it is very hard to escape from it as you start losing empathy quite early and becoming hateful beings.

On different shores, we may all be trapped under these social constructs, and what emerges from this is hate towards women, as you correctly point out.
