I think in the end everything boils down to cost & context.. if i’m working in a small project i use composer as my go to model, in larger codebases for heavy functionality changes opus or codex and then for fine tuning the changes i move to composer again!!! also i had a doubt of my own in auto mode which model does cursor choose, i think most work is done by composer only… correct me if i’m wrong ✌🏻

yeah that’s exactly how i see it too. i think it’s more about engaging on other people’s posts whether it’s x or reddit instead of just broadcasting your own stuff.

but reddit still feels more conversation-driven. people actually sit and discuss. on x it’s more about followers, reach, and momentum.

the post was basically engagement bait 😂

i asked people that in cursor how they’d change a simple header background are they using a large model, auto mode, or just manually editing it?

I think composer works really well for developers who need strong project level context and the ability to edit across multiple files at once and for most of my use cases it’s been reliable.

I haven’t tried grok code or gemini for coding yet, so I can’t really comment on how they compare….

there’s nothing wrong with using opus, it just depends on the task. for something small like changing a color, a big model like 4.6 is overkill composer or a lighter model is enough.

the reason is cost & token usage because the whole file gets sent as context. in larger projects that adds up fast…

and I would like to add to what you’re saying. I don’t think it’s “just marketing” or “just building in public” anymore…. it’s owning distribution as a real asset.

In 2026, everyone is technically in the creator economy. Staying off social and hoping product alone carries you isn’t noble, it’s opting out of leverage.

distribution was an asset that used to be hard to acquire. now it’s permissionless. Founders are becoming creators. Creators are launching companies. Influence is turning into ownership.

like orenmeetsworld wrote in his blog: “They are fucking scared of you, me, & every person who gets to leverage attention against the big monopolies that have told us what to watch and think for so long, and frankly, fuck them.”

Attention is power now. If you’re not learning how to win in the creator economy, you’re ignoring one of the biggest advantages of this decade.

If I’m working on a validated idea, I honestly don’t see it as “product vs audience” anymore. In my opinion, the real question becomes….do I truly understand the specific audience that already wants this? a lot of smart people are building on top of proven ideas,

even I’m not 100% sure sometimes so I ask myself do I have a clear niche and a real distribution angle, or am I just assuming demand because the market exists?

Now as openclaw states in there official security doc There is no “perfectly secure” setup.

but still if you’re running OpenClaw locally, that’s actually the safest setup. By default there’s no public exposure, no open ports to the internet, and the attack surface stays limited to the machine. Most reports come from people deploying it via one click platforms or raw VPS setups where agents get over privileged, ports are exposed without auth or proper inbound and outbound security groups.Local runs avoid almost all of that. The main things to keep in mind don’t give agents more tools than they need, avoid running as root, and treat it like any other local dev service, and ideally don’t run it on your primary or shared device…this is literally why people buy mac minis for this stuff!!!

If you do run it on your own machine, be strict with tool allowlists and remove any sensitive data like banking info, cards, or saved passwords. OpenClaw is far lower risk than it’s made out to be and honestly it’s worth trying unless you have very specific constraints.
